Geraldine Schaer Bonnevie-Savellano, known as Dina Bonnevie Tagalog pronunciation: [ˈbɔnɛvi], is a Filipino actress. Prior to joining Filipino showbiz, Bonnevie was a finalist in the 1979 Magnolia beauty pageant. She received her first acting assignment to camp-filled Temptation Island in 1980 with frontman Joey Gosiengfiao. However, the following year, Regal Films made her a prominent star thanks to Joey Gosingfiao's Katorse, opposite her boyfriend Alfie Anido. The same film features a young Gabby Concepcion who plays the role of a bad boy. In 1981, while playing Age Does Matter with her classmates Regal, Maricel Soriano and Snooky Serna and the eccentric Tito, Vic & Joey, she fell in love with Vic Sotto.
