Anne Linnet is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on July 30, 1953 in Aabyhøj, Central Denmark Region, Denmark. The year 1983 was when she started her own band, Marquis de Sade (band). The music was more raunchy as well as more digital, influenced by other European mid-eighties-era bands like Eurythmics and Eurythmics. It was also an evolution from the soft pop-folk sound that had characterized her music prior to that. The group recorded two albums. In the early days, they caused some controversy, and later became well-known for their songs with tragicomasochistic (“Marquis of Sade”) and lesbian (“Hils din mor”, “Venus”) themes. They scored big hits with songs like “Glor pa Vinduer” and “Nattog”.
